The instrument

The NiTi Brush is a rotary instrument for mechanical debridement of implant surfaces affected by peri-implantitis. Its bristles are nickel-titanium, a shape-memory titanium alloy about three times more flexible than titanium at comparable hardness.

**NiTi Brush NANO, POCKET and POCKET SHORT at the same scale** The three models drawn at the same scale: NANO (pointed tip), POCKET (35 mm) and POCKET SHORT (30 mm, the same head and the same shaft diameter on a shorter shaft).

**NiTi Brush POCKET, titanium brush for peri-implantitis** NiTi Brush POCKET, the standard model. An open nickel-titanium bristle head that reaches into the peri-implant pocket and returns the contaminated implant surface to a machined finish.

**NiTi Brush POCKET SHORT, titanium brush for peri-implantitis** NiTi Brush POCKET SHORT: the POCKET bristle head on a shorter shaft, 30 mm instead of 35 mm, for posterior sites and patients with limited mouth opening. Same debridement performance as POCKET.

**NiTi Brush NANO, titanium brush for peri-implantitis** NiTi Brush NANO: a bound, pointed nickel-titanium tip for the initial stage of peri-implantitis, where roughly one implant thread is exposed and almost no space is available.

**NiTi Brush OMEGA, titanium brush for peri-implantitis** NiTi Brush OMEGA: a wide, splayed nickel-titanium bristle head that folds around the implant thread, for deep pocket involvement.

**Titanium brush (NiTi Brush) in a 20:1 implant handpiece** NiTi Brush POCKET mounted in a 20:1 reduction implant handpiece. The brush is driven by the implant motor at 600-1,200 rpm under sterile saline irrigation.
